Position Overview:

Works on technical assignments relative to selected areas of design, analysis, testing, production planning or manufacture of very complex technology. Has technical responsibility for interpreting, researching, planning, executing, and coordinating assignments that are given in terms of broad general objective. May act as a lead person for other technologists mutually working on the same project. Makes recommendations or decisions on problems and methods to resolve important questions to plan and coordinate work.

On-site in Erwin, Tennessee.

Your Day to Day as an AUKUS Technologist 5:

Plans and directs the efforts on a project or projects of major significance.

Has lead responsibility for maintaining and improving the process of a major program.

As an individual contributor, conceptualizes, plans, and executes research or investigations into complex issues.

Develops processes, materials, and/or equipment and fixtures as well as lead problem investigations in any related area.

Keeps abreast of new technical/non-technical methods and developments in area of expertise and/or assigned areas of responsibility for purpose of recommending modifications and improvements.

Maintains liaison with individuals and units within or outside the organization with responsibility for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the area.

Performs assigned work in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy.

Assists in the training of new personnel

Required Qualifications:

A. S. degree in technical field plus 12 years of experience or no degree with 15 years of relevant experience.

Pay: $[[custsalaryMin]] - $[[custsalaryMax]]

The base salary range for this position in [[stateProvince]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[custsalaryMin]] and $[[custsalaryMax]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
