Summary You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT/CLASSIFICATION) in the Command Advisory Branch of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Responsibilities You will provide advisory services on recruitment and placement issues. You will advise management on recruitment strategies, sources and use of special programs. You will make suggestions and offer advice concerning attracting the best qualified candidates, in support of staffing goals and programs. You will provide advisory classification services and position management support. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-11 Grade level Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing advisory on a wide range of recruitment, staffing, and placement services to include: strategic hiring methods, occupational design of the position, pay and compensation flexibilities, and/or qualification & eligibility requirements in accordance with human resources management concepts, laws, policies, practices, and analytical methods. Additionally, assisting in the classification of general schedule and federal wage positions by applying a wide range of classification and position management regulations, precedents and procedures.
