Description We are looking for an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal to support a busy law firm in Texas. This permanent, in-office position is suited to a legal team member with strong attention to detail who can keep complex matters organized, maintain momentum across active cases, and provide reliable support to attorneys from initial filing through resolution. The role offers the opportunity to contribute in a fast-paced practice where accuracy, initiative, and strong communication are essential.

Responsibilities:

Oversee commercial litigation matters through each stage of the case lifecycle, ensuring files remain current, complete, and ready for attorney review.

Draft, revise, and organize legal materials such as pleadings, motions, correspondence, and discovery documents with close attention to accuracy and formatting.

Support discovery efforts by reviewing records, coordinating document production, and maintaining orderly collections of case materials.

Build and maintain case notebooks, exhibit sets, timelines, and trial preparation materials to support hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial activities.

Submit filings in state and federal courts and coordinate with court personnel, clients, opposing counsel, and other external parties.

Monitor litigation calendars, calculate deadlines, and help keep matters on track by following up on upcoming procedural and case milestones.

Assist attorneys with legal research, document preparation, and day-to-day case management across commercial disputes and related matters.

Arrange litigation events including depositions, hearings, and mediations while ensuring schedules, documents, and logistics are handled efficiently.

Maintain confidential client and matter information in an accurate and well-organized manner using firm systems and case management tools. Requirements - At least 3 years of paralegal experience, including meaningful exposure to litigation support responsibilities.

Demonstrated background in commercial litigation with working knowledge of case progression, court procedures, and filing requirements.

Experience preparing and managing pleadings, discovery materials, motions, and deadline-driven case documentation.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple active matters and consistently meet critical deadlines.

Clear written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with attorneys, clients, courts, and outside counsel.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with legal case management platforms is beneficial.

High school diploma or equivalent required, along with the ability to work on a permanent basis in an office setting in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Experience with Tabs3 or NetDocuments is preferred.
