Job Title: Electrical Foreman
Job Description
The Electrical Foreman supervises and coordinates electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities on construction projects and industrial facilities. This role leads teams of electricians and apprentices, ensures work is completed safely and efficiently, and maintains strict compliance with electrical codes, company standards, and project specifications.
Responsibilities
Supervise and direct electrical crews on construction and maintenance projects to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
Plan, assign, and monitor daily work activities to meet project schedules and milestones.
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and work orders to guide installation and repair work.
Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and controls in construction and industrial environments.
Ensure full compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and all applicable safety regulations.
Coordinate material deliveries, equipment usage, and workforce requirements to support uninterrupted project execution.
Conduct job-site safety meetings and consistently enforce company safety policies and procedures.
Train, mentor, and evaluate electricians, helpers, and apprentices to support skill development and performance.
Communicate project updates, issues, and resource needs clearly and promptly to project managers and superintendents.
Perform quality control inspections to verify that workmanship meets project standards and specifications.
Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials used, and overall project progress.
Coordinate activities with other trades and contractors to ensure smooth, integrated project execution.
Essential Skills
Strong hands-on electrical skills, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and controls.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and work orders.
Experience with conduit installation and bending, including running conduit and pulling wire and cable.
Ability to install, terminate, and troubleshoot wiring and low-voltage systems in construction and industrial settings.
Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct electrical crews on construction and maintenance projects.
Thorough knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes and related safety regulations.
Ability to plan, assign, and monitor daily work activities to meet project schedules.
Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical issues efficiently.
Attention to detail in performing quality control inspections and maintaining accurate project documentation.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with project managers, superintendents, and other trades.
Commitment to enforcing safety policies and leading job-site safety meetings.

This is a Contract position based out of Fuquay-Varina, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
