Our client, an industry-leading architecture and engineering firm, is seeking a Electrical Engineer to join their team. As a Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting multidisciplinary project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Not Remote

Pay Range: $80,000 - $115,000

What's the Job?

Design and implement complex electrical systems for diverse projects across multiple markets.

Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including architecture, engineering, project managers, and contractors.

Lead project teams by delivering comprehensive engineering design packages to clients such as federal, state, and local agencies, commercial entities, and educational institutions.

Provide engineering oversight and mentorship to junior engineers and designers, fostering professional growth and development.

Support construction and commissioning activities, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

What's Needed?

6-10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, architectural/electrical engineering, or electrical engineering technology from an ABET-accredited institution.

Registered Professional Engineer in North Carolina or ability to obtain through reciprocity within three months of start date.

Experience in building system design including power distribution, lighting and control systems, grounding, lightning protection, and emergency power systems.

Familiarity with system modeling software such as ETAP, SKM, or AGI, and knowledge of sustainable design practices.
