Job Title: Aerospace Support Specialist
Job Description
The Aerospace Support Specialist provides high-quality customer support and coordination for aerospace-related orders, quotes, and shipments. This role serves as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring timely communication, accurate processing of quotes, and efficient resolution of inquiries. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Communicate with customers regularly by phone and email to provide updates on in-progress jobs on a daily or weekly basis.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries related to jobs, orders, and quotes.
Manage customer quote approvals, including re-quoting as necessary, to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.
Ensure all quotes are processed efficiently and within defined timeframes, following internal procedures and standards.
Coordinate with production, shipping, warehouse, and common carriers to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
Collaborate effectively with other departments and individuals across the organization to resolve issues and support customer needs.
Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Use Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools to track data, prepare reports, and support daily operations.
Summarize data and trends clearly to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Follow verbal instructions accurately, read and interpret written information, and apply basic math skills in daily tasks.
Provide excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication in all internal and external interactions.
Work overtime, shifts, and weekends when needed to support business demands and customer requirements.
Apply knowledge of the aviation industry and airline Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) processes to support customer and operational needs.
Support inventory, shipping and receiving, and inventory control activities as needed to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Essential Skills
Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers via phone and email.
Experience in customer support or customer service roles, preferably in a technical or industrial environment.
Competency in Microsoft Office with strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use basic math in daily work.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to summarize data and trends clearly.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work overtime, shifts, and weekends when needed.
Knowledge of the aviation industry and airline Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) processes.
Experience with inventory, shipping and receiving, and inventory control processes.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in the aerospace industry or working with aerospace-related products or services preferred
Hands-on experience with shipping and receiving operations and coordination with carriers.
Experience supporting customers in a corporate or office-based environment.
Comfort working with data in Excel, including tracking orders, quotes, and shipment details.
Strong team orientation and willingness to support colleagues across departments.
Ability to build long-term customer relationships that support repeat business and customer loyalty.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
