1ST SHIFT - HIRING URGENTLY - $20-$21/hr
Job Description
This role supports daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment, focusing on accurate order fulfillment, inventory handling, and safe material movement. You will pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, assist with shipping and receiving activities, and help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse while using basic technology tools to complete inventory transactions.
Responsibilities
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Receive incoming materials, verify quantities against packing slips, and ensure items are correctly recorded.
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently, following established procedures.
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when appropriately trained and certified.
Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counting activities to support inventory control.
Label, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse locations to ensure easy access and proper stock rotation.
Inspect products for damage, identify discrepancies, and promptly report issues to the appropriate contact.
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and computers to perform inventory and shipping transactions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following housekeeping standards.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures to promote a safe workplace.
Assist with general warehouse duties and production-related tasks as assigned to support overall operations.
Essential Skills
Ability to stand or walk for long shifts and regularly lift between 35 to 50 pounds.
Basic familiarity with computer operations for performing inventory and shipping tasks.
Ability to use handheld barcode or RF scanners for tracking and processing inventory.
High school diploma or GED.
0 to 1+ years of prior logistics or warehouse experience.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when picking, packing, and recording inventory.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet daily operational goals.
Commitment to following safety policies and maintaining a safe work environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience operating pallet jacks in a warehouse setting.
Sit-down forklift experience and certification are a plus.
Previous experience in packing, inventory, production, picking, or general labor roles.
Comfort working as part of a small, collaborative warehouse team.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
