Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This position develops intensive, focused, and purposeful employer relationships within the Healthcare, Science, and Research sectors, in support of internships, experiential learning opportunities, shadowing, networking, and full-time jobs for students interested in those industries. The majority of this position's time is dedicated to building and maintaining employer relationships within these assigned sectors. The Assistant Director also manages a team of students who support the broader Employer Engagement team's employer sourcing and prospecting efforts, helping identify new contacts, target companies, and alumni connections across all industry focus areas. This position may also serve as instructor of record for up to one academic course per semester, as needed.

Develops intensive, focused, and purposeful employer relationships within the Healthcare, Science, and Research sectors in support of internships, experiential learning opportunities, shadowing, networking, and full-time jobs for students interested in those industries, with the majority of this position's time dedicated to building and maintaining employer relationships within these assigned sectors.

Minimum Experience / Education:

Bachelor's in human resources, business development, marketing, or other relevant degree required and 3 years of direct experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education Skills and Experience:

Ability to work with individuals and groups and prepare and deliver high-quality, effective presentations.

Must be proficient with technology such as CRM management, social media, or other recruitment-related software and interested in identifying and adopting technological advances in the field.

Familiarity with, or strong interest in developing familiarity with, the Healthcare, Science, and Research employment landscape, including relevant employers, credentialing pathways, and industry trends.

Well-developed interpersonal, marketing, and communication skills.

Must be able to make decisions and work independently, as well as in team situations, including the supervision of student staff.
