Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a growing Solid Rocket Motor Engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of thermal analysis principles and experience with industry-standard thermal analysis tools. In this role, you will conduct detailed thermal analyses of solid rocket motor components, collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, interface with customers, and contribute to technical excellence across programs.

Skills and Requirements

Required education and experience: Engineering associate's degree and 5-7 years' experience

Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Strong knowledge of thermal analysis principles and methodologies.

Experience using industry-standard thermal analysis tools.

Experience supporting aerospace, defense, propulsion, or rocket motor programs is highly preferred.

Thermal Ablative Analysis experience is strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
