Marketing Strategist

Position Summary Cabinet Joint is looking for a versatile, motivated Marketing Strategist to join our growing Marketing team. This is a hands-on opportunity for a marketing professional with a strong foundation who is ready to take greater ownership of campaigns, projects, and marketing initiatives. The Marketing Strategist will work across multiple areas of marketing, including content, email, digital marketing, product launches, website initiatives, customer experience, and campaign performance. The ideal candidate is someone who can connect the dots between different areas of marketing, bring organization and follow-through to projects, and combine creative thinking with data-driven decision-making. ## ## Key Responsibilities 1. Uphold Cabinet Joint's core values and purpose statement. 2. Help develop and execute marketing campaigns that support company growth, lead generation, product launches, and other business priorities. 3. Coordinate marketing initiatives across content, social media, video, design, email, web, SEO/SEM, and other channels. 4. Take ownership of assigned marketing projects from planning through execution, including timelines, responsibilities, deliverables, and measures of success. 5. Maintain and help manage the marketing calendar, ensuring initiatives are organized, prioritized, and moving forward. 6. Monitor and analyze marketing performance, campaign results, lead generation, and customer behavior to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. 7. Support marketing strategy and messaging for new products, services, target audiences, and company initiatives. 8. Collaborate with Sales, Product, Customer Experience, and other departments to understand business needs and translate them into marketing opportunities. 9. Coordinate with outside partners, including web development, SEO/SEM, digital marketing, and other specialized agencies or vendors. 10. Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes, customer journeys, reporting, automation, and overall marketing effectiveness. 11. Develop a strong understanding of Cabinet Joint's products, customers, competitors, and industry and apply that knowledge to increasingly independent marketing decisions. 12. Bring forward new ideas, opportunities, and solutions that can improve the customer experience and support company growth. ## Qualifications 1. Has experience working across multiple areas of marketing rather than within only one specialty. 2. Has strong project management, organization, and follow-through skills. 3. Takes ownership of projects while knowing when to ask questions, seek input, or involve others. 4. Has strong written and verbal communication skills. 5. Is comfortable working with marketing data and using insights to inform decisions. 6. Understands digital marketing and how different channels work together. 7. Collaborates effectively with creative specialists, outside partners, and internal departments. 8. Is strategically curious and wants to understand not just what we're doing, but why. 9. Takes a proactive and resourceful approach to solving problems and identifying opportunities. 10. Is willing and excited to learn a technical product, our customers, and the cabinetry industry. 11. Can balance creativity with organization, execution, and accountability. ### Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: 1. CRM platforms such as HubSpot 2. Email marketing platforms 3. Digital advertising 4. Website management 5. Google Analytics or other marketing analytics tools 6. SEO/SEM 7. Ecommerce 8. Product marketing 9. Marketing automation 10. Campaign reporting and performance analysis Approximately 2-5 years of professional marketing experience is preferred. However, demonstrated ability, breadth of experience, initiative, and potential for growth are more important to us than a specific number of years.
