As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Access Control Driver in Big Island, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that delivers with integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Day Time

Thur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Fri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns in accordance with site procedures.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions.

Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
