We are seeking Costume Characters at LEGOLAND® Florida in Winter Haven, Florida for the Daily Park Opening Moment, Character Meet & Greets, and Hotel Events. This role may perform in both the theme park and hotel locations. We are looking for high-energy performers to bring these Costume Characters to life!

Costumed Character Performers must be willing to perform as a costumed character in a full body costume like a mascot as well as serve as a character sidekick when needed. Responsibilities of a character sidekick include assisting during character meet-and-greets, being the voice for the character, and engaging with guests to create a welcoming and interactive experience. Performers will be working in various indoor and outdoor climates and must be comfortable wearing a full character costume for up to 30 minutes at a time. This role requires individuals who are comfortable performing in enclosed character costumes.

In the hotel setting, performers will support family-focused programming such as character meet-and-greets, hosting games for families, leading dance parties, and reading from a book during storytime experiences. Performers should be comfortable speaking with guests, facilitating activities, and maintaining high energy while interacting with children and families.

Pay: $15.50 per hour

Hours: this is a Part Time job with approximately 6-8 hours per shift between 8:00am and 9:00pm

Workweek: typically 2-3 days a week. Must have at least 2 days of availability a week with at least 1 day being a weekend day

What is required?

Must be between 5'0" and 5'6"

This is full body costume like a mascot with head fully covered

Must be local to Winter Haven, Florida or surrounding area

Must have reliable transportation

Must have weekend availability

Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States
