Job Title: Electronics Assembly Technician

Job Description

This role focuses on assembling small electronic components for a variety of manufactured units in a clean, climate-controlled production environment. You will follow computer-based work orders, use hand and power tools, and contribute to efficient and accurate assembly line operations.

Responsibilities

Assemble small electronic parts and components according to detailed work orders and production specifications.

Read and follow computer-based work orders accurately to ensure correct parts, tools, and assembly steps are used.

Utilize a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during mechanical and electrical assembly tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with machine operation in a manufacturing or assembly setting.

Attention to detail when working with small electronic components and assemblies.

Strong reliability and consistency in following safety procedures and wearing required protective equipment.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a climate-controlled, very clean, and well-maintained production facility focused on assembling electronic units. You will wear company-supplied smocks and ESD (electrostatic discharge) equipment to protect both you and the sensitive electronic components you handle. The environment is organized and process-driven, with computer-based work orders guiding daily tasks. Work is performed on an assembly line using hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, and basic machinery. Multiple shifts are available: a first shift from 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday; a second shift from 3:50 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday; and a weekend shift from 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday through Sunday, working 36 hours. The facility emphasizes cleanliness, safety, and consistent procedures to support efficient production.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winona, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.70/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
