Summary About the Position: This position is located at the HQ-ATEC, G8 (Resource Management Directorate), Contracts Management Division with a duty location of Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. (merit) Responsibilities Plan and evaluate acquisition strategies, schedules, and contract actions to ensure timely execution and alignment with mission objectives. Serve as a senior acquisition expert responsible for the full range of acquisition planning and contract management functions required to support various contractual needs from pre-award to post-award functions. Prepare clear acquisition guidance, briefs stakeholders, and coordinates command level reports to ensure accurate communication and oversight. Resolve complex contracting issues by analyzing requirements, interpreting regulations, and developing compliant solutions for ambiguous or changing needs. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) experience performing full acquisition lifecycle planning and contract management from pre-award and post-award through closeout to ensure regulatory compliance with Federal and Defense acquisition regulations such as FAR/DFARS and other applicable policy; (2) experience providing advisory support to program officials, project managers, and leadership to resolve complex contracting and acquisition challenges with compliant solutions; (3) experience developing acquisition guidance, policy, or standard operating procedures, to coordinating with Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs) on oversight, surveillance, and performance reporting; and (4) experience managing or administering complex reimbursable and direct contracts, as well as hybrid contract @types, to include Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), Level of Effort (LOE), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Time & Materials (T&M), and Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade position in the federal service (NH-02/GS-11).
