A well-established law firm in Santa Rosa is seeking a Legal Assistant to support its attorneys and legal staff with a variety of administrative and litigation-related tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to grow their legal career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have prior law firm experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while providing exceptional support to attorneys and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to attorneys, including calendar management, scheduling, and file organization

Prepare, revise, and format legal correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents

Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files

Coordinate court filings, service of process, and document retrieval

Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors

Assist with case management, deadlines, and attorney workflow

Handle incoming calls, emails, and client inquiries

Support attorneys with trial preparation, hearings, and other legal proceedings as needed

Requirements

2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or related legal support professional

Law firm experience strongly preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with legal software and document management systems is a plus

Professional demeanor and commitment to client service
