Program openings in over 150 locations throughout the U.S TRC is seeking
highly motivated and diverse Civil/Geotechnical Engineering Internsout
of our Madison, WI office for our Summer 2027 intern program. This is a
paid full-time position. Anticipated duration will be from June through
August 2027 (flexible). This position has the potential to transition
into a Full-Time role upon graduation. The successful candidate will
work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders and
partner with engineers, scientists, and technologists. Responsibilities
Perform engineering calculations to support designs including
geotechnical, stormwater, and general civil aspects. Perform field
investigations and construction oversight for environmental compliance,
geotechnical, and land development projects. Support design of
stormwater management systems, layout renewable energy systems, and
solid waste management systems. Perform various project tasks including
evaluating regulatory requirements, developing quantity take-offs, cost
estimates, research, subcontractor procurement support, etc. Apply
quality assurance and quality control processes for deliverables.
Support the preparation of reports, plans and specifications for client
and governmental approvals and construction. Perform data entry, data
management, data evaluation, and data presentation. Perform other
related duties and responsibilities as necessary. Qualifications Must be
at least 21 years old with a valid driver\'s license. Pursuing Bachelor
or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering,
