We\'re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build scalable, reliable, and intuitive capabilities that enable customers to operate Cribl Stream with confidence and agility. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Stream Control Plane team, you will work with a cross-functional group of engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver resilient, high-performing software at scale. This role blends technical depth with hands-on execution and is ideal for someone who enjoys solving distributed systems challenges, building customer-facing platform capabilities, and improving reliability in production environments. Build software that powers the reliable and scalable operation of Cribl Stream, including deployment, configuration, and orchestration of distributed nodes at scale Partner with engineers, product managers, and designers to turn product requirements into practical technical designs and high-quality implementations Develop, test, and maintain robust code that delivers meaningful customer value Use AI-assisted tools and agentic workflows effectively in day-to-day engineering work, including development, debugging, testing, and operational efficiency Create automated tests and thoughtful test plans to ensure product quality, reliability, and maintainability Contribute to engineering best practices, operational excellence, and a strong customer-focused mindset * Identify and implement improvements in performance, scalability, and developer efficiency across our products and processes
