As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a manufacturing and industrial location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Wed11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Thur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.

Maintain required armed-post qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.

Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.

CPR/First Aid is preferred.

A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
