Pediatric Oncology Faculty - Associate Professor or Professor Department
of Pediatrics | Division of Hematology/Oncology/BMT Position Summary:
The Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/BMT at the Medical College
of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children\'s Wisconsin (CW), seeks a board
certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Division.
This position is located in Milwaukee, WI at the Children\'s Wisconsin
hospital campus. We are comprised of nationally and internationally
renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment
to clinical care. Position Highlights: As the MCW Cancer Center AD of
Survivorship and Pediatric Oncology, the selected candidate will:
Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for cancer
survivorship research, aligning with the Cancer Center\'s mission and
goals, identifying unmet needs and opportunities for funded research;
Build a cancer survivorship program across the lifespan Coordinate
research initiatives to improve the quality of life and long-term health
outcomes for cancer survivors. Bring together physicians, other
clinicians, community partners and basic, clinical and population
scientists to develop and implement research addressing issues in both
children and adults, including, but not limited to transitions in care
Work with clinical directors to analyze data to monitor the
effectiveness of survivorship programs and identify areas for
improvement Mentor trainees and junior faculty in survivorship care and
research Participate in the leadership of the Cancer Center as a member
of the MCWCC Director\'s Council which advises the Cancer Center
Director on strategic issues Advocate for the needs of cancer survivors
and their families, both within the Cancer Center and in the broader
community If the selected candidate is a practicing clinician, they will
have the opportunity to practice in the outpatient and inpatient
settings and participate in development and oversight of relevant areas
of the clinical program in the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/Bone Marrow
Transplant and Cellular Therapy Division Performs other duties as
assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate. Schedule: Full-Time ( FTE)
