Job Category:Faculty Employment Type:Regular Job Profile:Assistant Professor Job Summary: The University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science Division, Drug Delivery Core invites applications for one 9-month position at the rank of tenure-track Assistant Professor. The faculty member will join a division whose mission is to innovate through cutting-edge research in the pharmaceutical sciences, to educate through didactic and directed research contributions to the Doctor of Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences PhD, and Pharmacology and Toxicology BS programs, and to cultivate a nurturing community that supports scholarship and learning within the School of Pharmacy. The faculty member will be responsible for establishing a high quality, independent, externally funded research program; supervising graduate students; and teaching courses in professional and graduate programs within the School of Pharmacy (https://pharmacy.wisc.edu). PharmD and Pharmaceutical Science graduate program teaching topics may include Drug Delivery Systems for Pharmacotherapy, Pharmaceutical Genetics and Immunotherapy, Polymeric Drug Delivery Systems, and the opportunity to contribute to elective pharmacy courses. The faculty member will contribute to the Pharmaceutical Sciences graduate program with responsibility for graduate student mentorship, teaching, and collaborative scholarship. University, School, and community service will be expected as appropriate. The anticipated start date merely reflects the earliest possible start date.
