Shift: 1st shift 6-2:30 PM, OT hours needed if requested

What's a typical day as Manufacturing Engineer Fabrication? You'll be:
Planning, coordinating, and performing manufacturing engineering work supporting machining, sheet metal, and tool design processes
Analyzing manufacturing information to define methods, process steps, machinery, tooling, and equipment needed for production
Designing and continuously improving manufacturing processes and systems to achieve cost and quality objectives
Developing engineering solutions and coordinating feasibility testing to support solution development and validation
Supporting the development, application, and evaluation of engineering standards and specifications
Inspecting engineering work, equipment, or installations, and recommending corrective actions to meet regulatory requirements
Identifying process shortcomings and implementing improvements through established change management processes
Coordinating activities with suppliers, subcontractors, and other external resources per project management plans
Providing technical support and guidance to help others effectively use engineering and knowledge management systems
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have manufacturing engineering experience involving machining, sheet metal fabrication, tooling, equipment, or related manufacturing processes (Must Have)
Possess the ability to develop, implement, test, and improve engineering designs and manufacturing solutions (Must Have)
Are skilled in preparing and applying technical engineering specifications (Must Have)
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including interpreting complex or conflicting information (Must Have)
Can plan, prioritize, and manage work within established project schedules (Must Have)
Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills (Must Have)
Have knowledge of safe work systems, applicable policies, regulations, and risk-management practices (Must Have)
Are able to work collaboratively with teams, suppliers, contractors, and other engineering functions (Must Have)
Hold a bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline, or have equivalent experience (Preferred)
Have experience designing or improving machining, sheet metal, tooling, or related manufacturing processes (Preferred)
Have demonstrated ability to diagnose operational problems and implement practical engineering solutions (Preferred)
Have experience coordinating engineering work with suppliers or external partners (Preferred)
Are able to create clear technical specifications, documentation, and reports (Preferred)
Possess a continuous-improvement mindset and can identify inefficiencies in existing processes (Preferred)
Can provide technical guidance and build alignment among stakeholders (Preferred)
Note: Metatarsal safety boots are required on your first day. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
