Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join a paper and packaging operation in Mahwah, New Jersey in a contract-to-permanent role. This position supports order management, customer communication, and inventory-related activities while helping ensure timely and accurate fulfillment. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling phone inquiries, reviewing orders, coordinating returns, and completing administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage incoming customer and dealer calls, providing updates on special-order parts, product availability, order progress, applications, and return requests.

Review submitted orders and complete needed updates, cancellations, or priority escalations to keep processing on track.

Process return activity accurately and support daily documentation related to customer orders and product movement.

Prepare and print order paperwork for daily fulfillment activities across multiple product lines.

Verify order details for accuracy and supply key code information when required to support completion.

Maintain recurring operational reports and perform weekly inventory counts to support stock accuracy.

Receive vendor shipments, inspect item counts, and confirm inventory matches accompanying documentation.

Assemble or prepare order-specific products such as keys, fuse boxes, and instrument packs based on customer requirements.

Package outgoing shipments according to product @type, carrier method, and destination so items arrive in good condition.

Provide backup support to order processing and coordination team members and participate in coaching, training, and other assigned duties. Requirements - Experience in customer service, order entry, or administrative support within a fast-paced business environment.

Strong data entry skills with the ability to review orders carefully and maintain accurate records.

Working knowledge of purchase orders, inventory tracking, and inventory reporting processes.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, including phone support, documentation, and order processing, with consistent attention to detail.

Comfortable handling inventory counts, receiving stock, and verifying product accuracy against records.

Proficiency with office administration tasks and standard business systems used for reporting and order management.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external customers. TalentMatch®
