Pay -18-22/HR

Tuesday & Friday 9-530

Wednesday 830-200 [maybe a little longer]

Thursday 9-7

Saturday 8-1 [closed for many Saturdays in the fall]

Job Overview

Adecco Healthcare & LifeSciences is currently looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our dedicated team of eye care professionals. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a critical role in providing an exceptional modern patient experience, ensuring smooth daily operations, and supporting our mission to improve our community's quality of life through enhanced vision care.

Key Responsibilities

· Patient Greeting: Welcome patients warmly upon arrival, manage the check-in and check-out processes, and ensure a comfortable and professional environment.

· Appointment Scheduling: Manage the practice calendar by scheduling comprehensive eye exams, vision therapy sessions, and specialized follow-ups efficiently.

· Communication Management: Handle high-volume phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage digital patient communications or appointment requests.

· Patient Intake & Records: Assist new and returning patients with digital or physical patient forms, verify insurance information, and accurately update electronic health records.

· Administrative Support: Support the clinical staff and opticians by handling patient billing, processing payments, and managing general office administrative tasks.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Previous experience as a medical receptionist, front desk representative, or in a customer service role (experience in optometry or ophthalmology is a plus).

· Strong communication, interpersonal, and phone etiquette skills.

· Proficiency with computer systems, scheduling software, and electronic medical records.

· Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and maintain confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.

· A welcoming demeanor with a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
