Job Category:Academic Staff Employment Type:Regular Job Profile:Teaching, Learning, and Technology Specialist II Job Summary: Join the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC) and help shape the future of cancer education and research training. As an Education Specialist, you will lead the development and administration of innovative training programs that engage learners from K-12 through undergraduate and advanced trainee levels, helping build the next generation of cancer researchers and healthcare professionals. Reporting to the Assistant and Associate Directors of Cancer Education, Research and Training, this role serves as a key partner in designing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating educational programs that reach learners across UW-Madison, Dane County, and communities throughout Wisconsin. As the Education Specialist, you will collaborate with faculty, scientists, educators and institutional partners on meaningful program administration and learning experiences, track participant outcomes, assess program effectiveness and drive continuous program improvement. The position also works closely with fellow Education Specialists to support mentoring initiatives, faculty development programs, and trainee-focused educational activities that advance the mission of the UW Carbone Cancer Center. Additional Information: This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location. Must provide a valid driver\'s license.
