Responsibilities:
Support prospecting efforts for bid opportunities within the assigned territory.
Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, developers, mechanical contractors.
Use Salesforce to identify, track, and document opportunities, activities, and pipeline updates.
Participate in customer meetings and job site visits to gather information required for pricing and proposals.
Assist with site visits to collect measurements and project details necessary to prepare quotes.
Support the preparation of equipment and material lists, labor estimates, freight requirements, and other pricing inputs using SafQuote.
Collaborate with Sales Managers, Construction Managers, and contracts teams to move opportunities through the sales and contracting process.
Coordinate with Project Controls to ensure accurate billing and timely capture of change orders.
Support project kickoff activities to help ensure alignment between sales commitments and field execution.
Assist with prequalification documentation to help secure bidder list placements with new customers.
Identify potential cross-selling or upsell opportunities across the full portfolio of access and specialty solutions.
Provide weekly activity and pipeline updates to Sales Leadership.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field preferred.
Internship, co-op, or early career experience in construction, industrial services, or B2B sales preferred.
Strong interest in construction, engineering, access solutions, and technical sales.
Basic understanding of construction drawings, estimating, or project coordination.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) is a plus.
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
Willingness to visit local job sites and work in active construction environments.
