Position Summary
As theManufacturingEngineering Managerat ITT Inc.'s Valencia location, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation and continuous improvement of the aerospace business. You will lead a team of professionals engaged manufacturing engineersto ensure our products meetboth customerand internal functional & performance,reliabilityand quality requirements. Collaboration with various stakeholders, including other ITT sites especially our production facility in Nogales, Mexico, will be essential to achieve the organization's goals.
Essential Responsibilities
Leadership : Provide effective leadership to the ManufacturingTeam, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
Ensure that customers (internal and external) havea premiumexperience when dealing with ITT testing departments, with an effective andtimelysubmission of results, and a proactive interaction with the relevant stakeholders, to provide technical solutions and proposals.
Provide the team with the needed tools and processes to report the most relevant metrics and KPI to ensurea goodtracking of thedepartment'sperformance.
Support maintenance programs and activities , to ensure the highest level of safety and efficiency of our machines.
Manufacturing Engineering : Lead the manufacturing engineering team inDFxreviews, optimization of production processes,maintainingproduct quality and helping drive resolution to any issue with on-time shipment of our various product lines.
Collaboration : Work closely with other ITT sites and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration, knowledge sharing, and alignment on engineering strategies.
Performance Metrics :Establishand monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of engineering processes,identifyingareas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement : Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability, reduce manufacturing defects, and streamline engineering processes.
Budget Management :Tracking oflabor and expense budgets, ensuring responsible allocation of resources to meet project and organizationalobjectivesincluding laboratory costs.
Regulatory Compliance : Ensure that all engineering activities adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Talent Development : Foster the professional growth and development of team members through coaching, mentorship, and training opportunities.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Minimum of 6 years' experience (8+ preferred) within the aerospace or related industry, withhands onexperience in a production environment. Strong background across test equipment design, test engineering, environmentalqualificationand manufacturing a plus
Demonstrated leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a project engineer or engineering mgt. position
Excellent planning and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and locations.
Familiarity with industry regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Strong problem-solving abilities anda track recordof implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Specific benefits are dependent upon whether or not the position is part of a collective-bargaining agreement. The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.
Equal Pay Act Range
Annual salary range is $149,100 to $222,500, plus benefits and incentives.
