Summary About the Position: You will serve as a U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command (USACIDC) action officer for implementation of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act (PA) programs. Responsibilities Utilize FOIA/PA to ensure documents requested are able to be released in accordance with law. Develop case files for each request for proper documentation according to organizational guidelines to support the mission. Conduct research on new and updates FOIA/PA exemptions to ensure most up to date exemptions are used to help support overall mission. Utilize knowledge of Law Enforcement activities, procedures, investigative techniques and policies. Utilize FOIA/PA to ensure documents requested are able to be released in accordance with law. OR Master's degree from an accredited university, or have at least 2 years of study leading to such degree related to the position, that would otherwise substitute for specialized experience. OR Combination of education and experience, which includes: Having some specialized experience (as described in the GS-09 qualifications), but less than one year; and more than one year but less than two years of education as described in B.
