Job Description: Assistant Administrators are a valuable member of our health care team who work to act as a support to the facility Administrator as the representative of the governing body of the nursing facility for internal management, and to be responsible for the efficient administration of all activities, subject to the policies, procedures and orders of the governing body in compliance with corporate policy and under the direction and supervision of the Regional Director of Operations.

About us: Especially Kidz is a skilled pediatric nursing facility located in Shelbyville, Indiana. Especially Kidz is seeking an Administrator to become a part of our team where our primary goal is to provide exceptional care for our residents.

About the Role: Especially Kidz is seeking an Assistant Administrator to-

Be responsible to assist the Administrator for overall management and operations of the facility under direction of the Administrator and in conformance with Corporate policies and procedures.

Enforce rules and regulations related to health care and the safety of residents in order to protect their personal and property rights.

Assist the Administrator to serve as ongoing liaison between the governing body, medical and nursing staff and other professional and supervisory staff of the facility.

Study and act upon recommendations made by the Quality Assurance Committee and other committees, as applicable, as delegated by the Administrator.

Assist in admission of residents as delegated by the Administrator.

Insure the accurate and prompt submission of all required reports to the Regional Director of Operations as delegated by the Administrator.

About you: The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:

Must be a licensed Administrator (HFA) as required by the State.

Must be well-versed in human relations and administrative management.

Should have patience and tact in dealing with anyone at the facility

Ability to read and write in English, ability to communicate with residents, families, personnel, and support agencies and ability to remain calm under stress.

Must display good emotional health and be capable of extended periods of standing, bending and heavy lifting.
