As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Columbus, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $15.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Tue02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Sat06:30 AM - 02:30 PM

Sun06:30 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.

Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing personnel in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications, escalating maintenance concerns, hazards, and security-related issues to appropriate site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
