What are your responsibilities?

Performing critical collection activities on overdue invoices, such as phone calls, emails, dunning letters, and regularly contacting customers to determine reasons for payment delays. Analyzing and investigating root causes of outstanding balances by liaising with internal and external customers. Proactively communicating with management about significant overdue receivables and potential risks. Managing credit risk by handling order blocks/unblocks and assessing customers' payment histories. Collaborating with internal departments to resolve claims and customer issues and respond to inquiries. Providing day to day customer service in accordance with established standards and continuously improving service quality. Monitoring payment plans and ensuring adherence to agreed schedules. Leading escalation meetings and communications. Supporting month end close and AR accounting tasks. Preparing data and reports and continuously seeking process improvements and efficiency gains. Maintaining accurate and up to date customer data in the accounting system to ensure data integrity. Providing required documentation and support during internal and external audits. Supporting the deployment of new tools, systems, and processes within the receivables function. Participating in team meetings and training sessions to stay current on policies, procedures, and best practices. Acting as a deputy for other team members during their absence to ensure continuity of AR operations.

What makes you a good fit for this role?

Secondary vocational or higher education in a relevant field (accounting, finance, economics) or related. Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in English (minimum B1). Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills. Good organizational skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to conduct workshops and training sessions for employees. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team. Ability to adapt to dynamic business conditions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel).
