Needs a certain amount of quickness in hand and arms movements to meet production standards. Most of the jobs require frequent lifting of bundles weighing up to 25 lbs. In receiving and shipping, occasional lifting of bulk bundles weighing over 30 lbs. is required. Working Conditions Distribution area will be small area, will be exposed to the possibility of bruises from carts or machinery. If required to sort laundry from patients with contagious diseases, protective masks, gloves, and gowns are worn. When working in the receiving area, will be exposed to all elements from open doors.
