General Warehouse Associate

Pay rate: $17.62/HR

Job Summary

The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for processing and shipping customer orders. This position performs a variety of warehouse tasks, including receiving, scanning, picking, packing, auditing, and shipping merchandise while maintaining accurate inventory records and a safe, organized work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Receive, scan, pick, pack, audit, and ship merchandise to customers.

Track inbound and outbound items using radio-frequency (RF) scanning equipment.

Maintain inventory accountability and accuracy throughout the order fulfillment process.

Verify orders and enter required information into the inventory management system.

Retrieve and update inventory data as needed.

Maintain a clean, safe, orderly, and debris-free warehouse.

Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operational guidelines.

Meet the quality standards established by warehouse management.

Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

Willingness to work a flexible shift.

Ability to stand for at least eight hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Ability to push, pull, grasp, and lift, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

At least two years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center.

At least six months of experience operating motorized material-handling equipment.

At least six months of experience using radio-frequency (RF) scanning equipment.

At least six months of experience entering and retrieving data in an inventory management system.
