Job Description

We are seeking Financial Analysts to support PG&E's Asset Retirement Program. These individuals will perform high-volume processing activities, ensuring accurate completion of settlement documentation, SAP updates, and quality control reviews. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in detail-oriented environments and have strong experience with financial documentation and data validation.

Key Responsibilities

Review and process assigned asset retirement orders.

Complete Settlement Upload Templates and required supporting documentation.

Perform SAP transaction entry and record updates.

Validate financial and operational data for accuracy and completeness.

Conduct peer QA/QC reviews of completed work.

Identify discrepancies and document resolution requirements.

Follow established SOPs, job aids, and processing guidelines.

Maintain accurate processing records and activity logs.

Support daily throughput targets and project completion goals.

Participate in team meetings and status reporting activities.

Skills and Requirements

3-5 years of experience in financial operations, accounting support, capital project administration, SAP processing, or similar analytical roles.

Experience entering and validating data within SAP or comparable ERP systems.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to manage repetitive, high-volume workflows while maintaining accuracy.

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications

Utility industry experience.

Experience supporting capital projects, asset management, settlements, or financial documentation processes.

Experience performing QA/QC reviews or audit-related activities.

Familiarity with process documentation and operational reporting.
