Job Title: Aircraft Technician
Job Description
This role focuses on providing avionics maintenance and troubleshooting support for a fleet of UH-60 helicopters based at Fort Moore. You will inspect, repair, and maintain complex aircraft systems to ensure safe, reliable, and mission-ready operations.
Responsibilities
Perform avionics maintenance, inspection, and repair on UH-60 helicopters and related H-60 platforms, including MH-60 and Blackhawk variants.
Support avionics work on additional rotary-wing platforms such as AH-64 and similar aircraft as required.
Diagnose and troubleshoot avionics and airframe issues using technical manuals, schematics, and test equipment.
Inspect, test, and verify proper operation of aircraft electrical and electronic systems after maintenance actions.
Document all maintenance actions accurately and in compliance with applicable regulations and organizational procedures.
Collaborate with other technicians and maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft readiness and timely completion of work.
Follow all safety procedures and maintenance standards while working in a hangar and flight line environment.
Use your 15T (15 Tango) experience to perform specialized maintenance tasks on UH-60 aircraft.
Assist with general airframe maintenance tasks in support of avionics work, as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area within the hangar environment.
Essential Skills
Experience as an Avionics Technician working on UH-60 or related H-60 series helicopters.
Level I qualification: at least 2 years of UH-60 experience OR an A&P license with relevant helicopter experience.
Hands-on experience with helicopter platforms such as UH-60, MH-60, H-60, Blackhawk, Seahawk, and AH-64.
Strong troubleshooting skills for avionics and airframe systems.
Familiarity with 15T (15 Tango) duties or equivalent UH-60 maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance in all maintenance activities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
A&P license with relevant helicopter experience (accepted in lieu of 2 years UH-60 experience for Level I qualification).
Previous experience working in a military or defense aviation maintenance environment.
Comfort working on multiple helicopter platforms, including UH-60, MH-60, H-60, Blackhawk, Seahawk, and AH-64.
Ability to work effectively as part of a maintenance team in a hangar and flight line setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Moore, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $31.00/hr.
