Job Title: HR Administrative Assistant

Job Description

The HR Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the administrative functions of the Human Resources department. Reporting directly to the HR Director, this position will assist with onboarding, recruitment coordination, document management, data entry, and general clerical support to ensure efficient HR operations.

Responsibilities

Maintain and organize personnel files and HR documentation.

File and manage safety and OSHA-related records.

Support recruiting activities, including scheduling interviews, conducting initial phone screenings, and assisting with onboarding processes.

Enter and maintain HR data within spreadsheets and tracking systems.

Provide administrative and clerical support to the HR Director and HR team.

Process, file, and maintain various HR forms and records.

Assist with document preparation and basic data entry tasks.

Maintain and organize food safety documentation and records.

Support additional HR projects and administrative duties as needed.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in data entry and administrative skills.

Experience in filing and administrative support.

Basic Excel skills, including data entry and filtering.

Experience in calendar management.

Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant.

Clerical experience and customer service skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in recruiting, human resources, and talent acquisition.

Knowledge in HR administration and payroll.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Decatur, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
