JOB REQUIREMENTS: Observe gauges and thermometers to determine if the mixing chamber temperature is within specified limits, and turn valves to control the temperature. Observe and listen to equipment to detect possible malfunctions, such as leaks or plugging, and report malfunctions or undesirable tastes to supervisors. Record production and test data for each food product batch, such as the ingredients used, temperature, test results, and time cycle. Mix or blend ingredients, according to recipes, using a paddle or an agitator, or by controlling vats that heat and mix ingredients. Role Description As a Cheesemaker at Arla Foods, you will have diverse responsibilities that include: Follow cheese production and sanitation procedures. Monitor milk utilization and equipment performance. Be responsible for cheese quality and cleanliness. Assist in the resolution of cheese production problems. Identify and communicate quality deviations and nonconforming product. A qualified candidate will have a Wisconsin Cheesemaker and pasteurizer license or obtain one within 1.5 years and; 2 or more years of related experienceor; a combination of education and related experiences. Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work well with others.
