Work Schedule : Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. The Opportunity
This director will drive stronger change management across Consumer Bank by improving how changes are communicated, sequenced, deployed, adopted, and sustained. They will embed practical change management disciplines into delivery and operating model work, while helping leaders and teams understand what is changing, why it matters, how it impacts them, and how they are expected to work differently.

The Work Itself
Embed the Product Operating Model into Delivery
Support the implementation of the Product Operating Model in translating defined roles, standards, and practices into day-to-day team execution
Ensure alignment between Product, Technology, PMO, and Operations
Integrate new ways of working into value stream and initiative execution
Build a Repeatable Change Management Discipline
Establish lightweight standards, tools, and routines for change impact assessment, stakeholder mapping, readiness planning, communications, adoption support, and post-launch reinforcement
Help initiative teams identify what will be different for impacted associates, customers, processes, systems, controls, and ways of working and create clear, plain-language narratives to explain the change to the impacted audience and other stakeholders
Define the minimum change management expectations for major Consumer Bank initiatives, scaled appropriately based on size, risk, and audience impact
Reinforce a consistent approach to change without creating unnecessary process burden or slowing delivery
Integrate Adoption into Execution
Embed change management practices into delivery processes
Partner on capacity management and prioritization
Optimize change sequencing and saturation
Manage Change Sequencing, Capacity & Saturation
Maintain visibility into major Consumer Bank changes across operating model, strategic initiatives, process, and organizational change initiatives
Assess timing, audience overlap, dependency risk, and cumulative impact to reduce change fatigue and avoid poorly sequenced deployments
Partner with leaders to prioritize, phase, or adjust change activity when teams are facing too much change at once
Establish Feedback Loops & Continuous Improvement
Capture insights from teams and gaps in roles, capabilities, or processes
Partner with Product CoP and leadership to continuously improve change management discipline and practices in Consumer Bank
Measure Adoption, Sentiment & Effectiveness
Define adoption, readiness, and effectiveness indicators for major changes
Monitor whether teams understand the change, feel prepared for it, and are using new processes, tools, or ways of working as intended
Use feedback, survey themes, pulse checks, delivery outcomes, and operational metrics to identify where change is not landing well
Provide leadership reporting and insights that connect change management activity to adoption, employee experience, delivery effectiveness, and business outcomes
The Qualifications We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Organizational Development, Communications, Human Resources, Technology, Operations, or a related field
7+ years of professional experience in change management, transformation, product/delivery enablement, business operations, or related roles
3-5+ years leading change for complex, cross-functional initiatives, preferably across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk/Controls, PMO, or business teams
Demonstrated experience with:
Change communication and stakeholder engagement
Change impact assessment and readiness planning
Cross-functional systems thinking
Influence and leadership coaching
Change sequencing and portfolio awareness
Data-driven adoption measurement
Minimum Qualifications
9+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
High school Diploma or GED equivalent

Base Pay Range
$125,000.00 - $190,000.00
An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
Incentive Compensation:
This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
