Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to support a growing team in Chicago, Illinois. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with contract documentation, confident with technology, and skilled at keeping agreements moving efficiently through the review and signature process. The role will partner closely with attorneys, sales stakeholders, and senior legal support staff to help manage commercial contract workflows and identify issues that need attention.

Responsibilities:

Review commercial agreements and apply redlines to contract language in alignment with established legal guidance and business requirements.

Coordinate the end-to-end contract administration process, including tracking document status, routing agreements for approval, and confirming timely execution and distribution.

Support attorneys by locating relevant contract details, summarizing key terms, and escalating concerns or inconsistencies that may require legal review.

Assist senior paralegal staff with organizing, maintaining, and monitoring contract records for SaaS-related client agreements.

Partner with sales teams and internal stakeholders to keep contract requests progressing and help resolve administrative bottlenecks.

Maintain accurate contract documentation within internal systems and ensure files are current, complete, and accessible.

Contribute to upcoming team initiatives and additional contract-focused projects as business needs expand. Requirements - Experience in contract administration or contract management within a corporate or legal support environment. - Demonstrated ability to review and redline commercial contracts with strong attention to detail. - Familiarity with contract negotiation concepts; direct negotiation exposure is helpful but not required. - Comfort working with technology and contract workflow systems to manage documents and approvals efficiently. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across legal and sales teams. - Ability to identify potential contract issues, organize information clearly, and support timely decision-making. - Experience handling commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, is preferred.

The pay range for this position is $30 to $35. Benefits available to contract/contract professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
