Partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Longmont, CO seeking a Division Accounting Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, multi-state organization experiencing continued growth. The Division Accounting Manager will lead a team and oversee the full accounting operations for several company locations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational support.

Responsibilities Include:

Manage the monthly and year-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals

Maintain GAAP compliance and oversee chart of accounts management

Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness

Lead cost accounting functions, including COGS analysis, inventory costing, product margins, and cost reporting

Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities across assigned locations

Perform variance analysis and assist with annual audits and audit preparation

Manage percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting for long-term contracts and programs

Oversee revenue recognition processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards

Maintain ownership of divisional P& L and balance sheet performance

Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and support business decision-making

Develop, mentor, and manage accounting staff while driving process improvements and operational efficiencies

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

5-10+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong knowledge of GAAP

Manufacturing industry experience, including inventory accounting, costing, cost analysis, and POC accounting

Prior supervisory or people management experience

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
