In our College to Corporate Finance Internship, you'll collaborate alongside a team of premier finance professionals at Vanguard to help strengthen our company's future. Take a deep dive into an internship role within finance at a company that's changing the way people invest-and make it count!

In this internship program, you will:

Immerse yourself in an internship assignment within a key corporate finance function at one of the world's leading investment management companies, with opportunities in areas such as Financial Planning & Analysis, Internal Audit, Fund Analysis & Operations, or Finance Technology.

Lead an assignment within the Finance function that deepens your knowledge in areas such as fiscal planning, financial modeling, financial performance reporting, risk management, mutual fund accounting and operations, or supporting Finance shared services teams (e.g., Finance Technology or Corporate Real Estate).

Meet regularly with your department manager, internship program manager, and others to receive personalized coaching and mentorship.

Cultivate relationships within a fast-growing network of dedicated professionals committed to doing what's right for the investor.

Deliver strategic insights and identify opportunities that directly impact our business and, ultimately, our clients.

Make decisions with impact

Your strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and intellectual curiosity will help advance your financial expertise as you prepare for a career in this field. At Vanguard, our corporate finance functions are critical to our success. We invest internally to deliver care and exceptional experiences to our clients.

You'll gain a broad view of our enterprise, building valuable experience within an organization that serves over twenty million clients worldwide.

Upon successful completion of the program, you will have the opportunity to apply for a full-time position in one of Vanguard's rotational programs. These roles are designed to provide continued broad-based experience before launching into a specialized career path.

What it takes

Passion for finance and an interest in enabling critical internal functions within an organization.

Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred.

All majors are considered; majors in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, data analytics, or statistics are preferred.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.

Professional presence and demeanor when working with colleagues and leadership.

Adaptability, with the ability to learn quickly and take initiative.

Strong communication, analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Results-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

At this time Vanguard is only considering candidates that will not now, or in the future, need sponsorship or other immigration support to obtain US work authorization

This program is a full-time, paid summer internship

The start date for this program will be June 2027
