ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - Part-Time (Project/Program Aide - PT)

This position presents the exciting professional opportunity for you to join the Bus Operations team and work in one of the Garages in an Administrative capacity. This is a part-time position (work up to 30 hours) paying a highly competitive hourly rate of $32.32.

Summary: Administrative and clerical support assigned to department staff.

Main Functions:

Independently researches a wide variety of information requests.

Prepares and analyzes trends and status reports, drawing data from a variety of sources within and outside the department.

Composes routine letters and memoranda. Routes or answers routine correspondence not requiring supervisor's attention.

Maintains confidential department records and files.

?Assists in the formulation of the department budget, business planning, and related planning functions.

Has regular contact with customers, suppliers or company employees outside the immediate work area.

Makes meeting and travel arrangements

May oversee the activities of agreement clerical staff.

Assist in the preparation of other administrative functions related to this position

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Two years of experience in administrative management.

Transportation experience preferred but not required.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience using Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, Excel

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills required

Must be proficient in handling routine and confidential correspondence

Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Must be highly organized and able to work independently on various tasks.

Must have analytical skills, as evidenced by being able to think through problems, along with some proven decision-making abilities.

Must have leadership ability, as evidenced by leadership roles thought school and/or work experience.

Salary: $32.32 hourly
