Job Title: Warehouse Worker / Material Handler
Job Description
This position is for an experienced warehouse worker and material handler who will perform a mix of indoor and outdoor duties in a large warehouse environment. You will handle incoming and outgoing materials, load and unload trailers, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and perform order picking, packing, and shipping tasks. The role requires regular lifting of up to 50 pounds and careful verification of materials against documentation to ensure accuracy. This is a permanent, direct hire role with great benefits.
Responsibilities
Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently using forklifts and pallet jacks.
Operate sit-down forklifts to move, stack, and organize materials throughout the warehouse.
Use pallet jacks to transport materials and products within the facility.
Perform order picking using RF scanners and other warehouse tools to fulfill customer orders accurately.
Carry out packing and packaging tasks to prepare materials for shipping.
Handle materials throughout the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and staging products.
Use RF scanners to track inventory, locate items, and update warehouse records.
Support warehouse inventory activities by organizing stock and maintaining accurate counts.
Examine materials to ensure they match records such as manifests, invoices, and orders, and verify accuracy of documentation.
Work both indoors and outdoors as required by the nature of the product and warehouse operations.
Lift and move items up to 50 pounds on a regular basis while following safe lifting practices.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with warehouse procedures.
Essential Skills
At least 6 months of warehouse experience in a material handling or similar role.
Minimum 6 months of experience operating a sit-down forklift.
Minimum 6 months of experience using a pallet jack in a warehouse environment.
At least 6 months of picking, packing, and shipping experience.
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks for loading, unloading, and moving materials.
Experience with order picking and packing processes in a warehouse setting.
Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
Strong attention to detail when examining materials against manifests, invoices, and orders.
Basic understanding of warehouse inventory practices and material handling procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in both indoor and outdoor warehouse environments.
Comfort working in a large warehouse facility with varied product @types.
Ability to follow documented procedures and verify accuracy of shipping and receiving records.
Reliability and consistency in meeting daily operational goals.
Strong organizational skills to maintain orderly storage and staging areas.
Willingness to perform a variety of material handling tasks as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $43680.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
