Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $20.00-$21.00/hr | Weekly Pay
Shift: Monday-Friday | 7:00AM - 3:30PM | Full-Time

What's a typical day as Material Handler? You'll be:
Serving as a backup truck driver, transporting materials between campus buildings and local warehouse locations using a box truck (no CDL required).
Supporting receiving operations by unloading trucks and containers, and organizing incoming shipments.
Managing material flow from receiving to production areas using transport carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts.
Recording inventory transactions in SAP using a PC or barcode scanner.
Implementing 5S workplace organization practices in storage areas.
Maintaining inventory accuracy and workplace organization, and assisting with shipping/receiving coordination.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have a valid Connecticut driver's license (required).
Are able to pass a DOT physical and motor vehicle screen, and become certified to drive a box truck.
Have experience with computerized shipping, SAP, or similar inventory systems (preferred).
Are capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and working on your feet for extended periods.
Possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience driving a 20,000 lbs. truck is preferred.
