Job Title: Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator Job Description
This role performs a full range of shipping and receiving activities in a modern warehouse environment, including unloading and loading trucks, stocking and put-away, pallet preparation, and inventory tracking. You will use RF scanners, paper pick lists, and a warehouse management system to manage inventory, while safely operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts and a cherry picker at heights of 20-30 feet to pick product.
Responsibilities
Perform shipping and receiving functions, including unloading and loading trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
Break down pallets, refill packages and boxes, and prepare outbound shipments.
Wrap pallets and ensure they are securely prepared and labeled prior to shipment.
Stock and put away product in designated locations while maintaining accurate inventory records.
Utilize RF scanners and paper pick lists to locate, pick, and track inventory.
Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, as well as a cherry picker reaching 20-30 feet, to pick and move product.
Conduct inventory control activities such as cycle counts and inventory adjustments as needed.
Navigate the warehouse management system (SAP) to transfer inventory between locations and execute required commands.
Handle materials safely, including lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs repeatedly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with warehouse standards and procedures.
Essential Skills
1+ year of forklift experience operating sit-down and stand-up lifts is required.
1+ year of order picking or general warehouse experience is preferred.
1+ year of inventory tracking or inventory control experience is preferred.
Experience with inventory, receiving, and shipping processes in a warehouse environment.
Ability to use RF scanners and paper pick lists for inventory management and order picking.
Ability to navigate computer systems to track inventory and perform basic data entry.
Proficiency or strong aptitude for working with SAP or similar warehouse management systems, including transferring inventory between locations and using various commands.
Capability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds repeatedly while performing material handling tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2-3 years of order picking or warehouse experience is preferred.
Experience with stocking, inventory management, inventory control, and cycle counts is beneficial.
Material handling experience, including pallet breakdown and pallet wrapping, is an advantage.
Comfort working at heights of 20-30 feet on a cherry picker to pick product.
Attention to detail and accuracy in tracking inventory and completing documentation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Interest in obtaining heavy equipment certification, which includes classroom training and offers a pay increase upon completion.

Work Environment
This position operates on a first shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The work takes place in a very open and clean warehouse area on a brand-new campus in Bloomington, featuring state-of-the-art manufacturing and material handling equipment. The setting is modern, well-organized, and designed for efficient workflow and safety. The dress code is casual but practical, requiring a shirt, long pants, and closed-toe shoes suitable for warehouse and equipment operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
