Production Worker Food Manufacturing

We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and hands-on individual to join our food production and operations team.

This is a dynamic position with the opportunity to work and learn across many different areas of our operation, including food manufacturing, production, packaging, order preparation, warehouse organization, sanitation, cleaning, and general facility operations.

Rather than being limited to one specific task, team members will be cross-trained in different areas of the facility and will have the opportunity to develop a broad range of practical skills within the food manufacturing industry. Responsibilities may change throughout the day depending on production schedules, customer orders, and operational needs.

No previous food manufacturing experience is required. Training will be provided. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, work hard, stay organized, and contribute wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Assisting with food production and manufacturing activities

Preparing products according to company procedures and production specifications

Weighing, portioning, labeling, sealing, and packaging products

Preparing and organizing customer and wholesale orders

Assisting with receiving, organizing, rotating, and storing inventory

Moving products between production, cooler, freezer, warehouse, and order preparation areas

Maintaining clean and organized workstations throughout the day

Cleaning and sanitizing production equipment, tools, tables, floors, and food-contact surfaces

Performing end-of-day cleaning and sanitation procedures

Following proper food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

Learning the correct operation and care of production and packaging equipment

Assisting different departments as production and operational needs change

Helping maintain an efficient, organized, and safe working environment

Following company procedures regarding product handling, traceability, quality, and food safety

Identifying and communicating product, equipment, sanitation, or operational concerns to management

Performing other production, warehouse, cleaning, and facility-related duties as needed

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys learning new skills and working in different areas rather than performing exactly the same task every day.

Employees may rotate between production, manufacturing, packaging, sanitation, inventory, order preparation, and other operational areas. As experience is gained, there may be opportunities to learn additional equipment, processes, products, and responsibilities.

We believe in developing employees through hands-on experience and cross-training so they can better understand the entire operation.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position in a food production facility. Employees should be comfortable:

Standing and moving for extended periods

Performing repetitive production and packaging tasks

Lifting, carrying, pushing, and moving products or materialsas required

Working in refrigerated, freezer, and temperature-controlled areas

Working around food production machinery and equipment

Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Following strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety procedures

Performing regular cleaning and sanitation duties

Experience

Previous experience in food manufacturing, meat processing, production, warehousing, packaging, restaurants, kitchens, or similar environments is helpful but not required.

We are willing to train candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, and a genuine willingness to learn.
