Overview
The Marketing Automation & Campaign Specialist supports the design, execution, optimization, and performance measurement of automated marketing programs that deepen customer relationships and drive business growth. This role will support the development of customer journeys across email and other digital channels, leveraging marketing automation technology to deliver personalized, data-driven communications throughout the customer lifecycle. Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing Manager, this position also supports the broader execution of integrated marketing campaigns for the bank's consumer and business lines of business. The specialist will manage designated product marketing programs, coordinate enterprise sales initiatives with the branch network, contribute to internal communications regarding marketing efforts, and provide campaign performance reporting that enables continuous optimization. As the bank expands its marketing technology capabilities, this role will play a key part in advancing data-driven marketing, customer engagement, and cross-sell initiatives.
Responsibilities
Marketing Automation & Customer Journey Execution
Support the design, implementation, testing, and optimization of automated marketing campaigns across email and other digital channels.
Build and manage customer journeys, nurture campaigns, onboarding programs, and behavior-based communications within the bank's marketing automation platform.
Develop audience segmentation strategies to deliver relevant, personalized customer experiences.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for lifecycle marketing and automated cross-sell campaigns.
Monitor campaign performance and continuously optimize workflows based on engagement, conversion, and business results.
Ensure marketing automation activities comply with regulatory requirements, privacy standards, and internal governance.
Maintain and evolve the Bank's marketing automation platform, optimizing it's capabilities to support customer engagement, campaign engagement, personalization and growth initiatives.
Campaign Management & Marketing Communications
Support the VP, Marketing Manager in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns for business lines.
Assist with campaign planning, production, scheduling, quality assurance, and execution.
Coordinate campaign timelines across creative, digital, compliance, and business partners.
Contribute to internal communications regarding campaigns and marketing efforts; this may include distributing internal marketing bulletins and keeping our Sharepoint site up-to-date so that employees can easily reference current marketing activity.
Product Ownership
Serve as the primary marketing lead for assigned product portfolios.
Responsibilities include campaign planning, promotional support, creative coordination, reporting, and ongoing program optimization.
Branch Sales Support
Coordinate enterprise sales campaigns and promotional initiatives with the bank's 30+ branch locations.
Develop sales support materials and communication plans that enable frontline success.
Partner with Retail Banking leadership to ensure effective campaign rollout and execution.
Monitor participation and results, identifying opportunities to improve future sales initiatives.
Analytics & Reporting
Measure campaign effectiveness using marketing and business performance metrics.
Prepare recurring reports and dashboards that evaluate campaign performance, customer engagement, lead generation, and return on marketing investment.
Analyze trends and provide recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and customer experience.
Support ongoing testing initiatives including subject lines, segmentation, messaging, timing, and customer journeys.

Requirements
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is required
Work Experience
4-7 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, campaign management, or marketing automation is required
Experience using a marketing automation platform (such as Creatio, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Adobe Marketo Engage, Iterable, Braze, or similar) is required
Experience managing email marketing campaigns and customer segmentation is required
Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting campaign performance data is required
Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously is required
Strong written and verbal communication skills is required
Experience with Creatio marketing automation platform is preferred
Experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry is preferred
Familiarity with CRM systems and customer data segmentation is preferred
Experience with A/B testing and marketing optimization strategies is preferred
Knowledge of customer lifecycle marketing and personalization best practices is preferred
Banking experience is preferred

Expected Pay Range
The expected annual pay range for this role is $62,682 to $111,280. This pay range is the annual salary we in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation paid may fluctuate higher or lower than the posted range and the range may be modified in the future due to several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, certifications, and qualifications, internal equity, adjustments to the requirements and responsibilities of the job, business needs, and economic and market data.
