Description

Specific Responsibilities:

Generate revenue through the sale of print, digital, specialty publication, and integrated marketing solutions.

Prospect for and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories and account lists.

Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and key performance metrics through proactive prospecting, relationship building, solution-based selling, and effective account management.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consultative sales practices and exceptional service.

Conduct customer needs assessments and develop customized advertising and marketing recommendations.

Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations utilizing audience data, market research, and product solutions.

Collaborate with customers and internal teams to develop advertising strategies, creative concepts, and campaign plans.

Ensure advertising is sold, prepared, and published in accordance with company policies, rates, contracts, and quality standards.

Accurately maintain customer accounts, sales activity, orders, and related information within CRM and company systems.

Follow company credit and collections policies and assist in managing account receivables as needed.

Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities to increase customer results, retention, and revenue growth.

Identify and recommend new products, sales opportunities, and process improvements that enhance customer success and business performance.

Submit required reports and maintain accurate sales and customer records in a timely manner.

Participate in ongoing training, professional development, and community networking opportunities.

Participate in the Great Game of Business and support company initiatives.

Adhere to all company safety standards, including general workplace safety, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of one year of experience in advertising, marketing, media sales, business development, or a related field.

Proven ability to prospect for new business and build customer relationships.

Strong sales, presentation, negotiation, and customer service skills.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a results-oriented environment.

Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office applications, and related business software.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.

Valid driver's license and adhere to company driving eligibility requirements, including proof of auto insurance.

Demonstrated alignment with company core values and ESOP culture.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and working at a computer.

Frequent communication with customers, prospects, and employees in person, by phone, video conference, and electronically.

Regular local travel to customer locations, networking events, and company meetings.

Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and printers.

Ability to transport sales materials, presentation equipment, and marketing materials as needed.

Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends to attend customer events, networking activities, and company functions.
