Accounts Receivable / Billing Clerk

Location: Maple Grove, MN

Pay: $25/hour

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00-8:30 AM flexible start

Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote

Start Date: ASAP

Position Summary

Growing company seeking an Accounts Receivable / Billing Clerk to support billing, invoicing, and business-to-business collections. This role will be approximately 50% billing/invoicing and 50% collections , with some order entry responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Process invoices, service orders, and billing documentation.

Submit invoices through customer portals and verify POs.

Handle B2B collections and follow up on outstanding/aged receivables.

Research and resolve payment discrepancies and customer disputes.

Provide invoice copies and respond to customer billing questions.

Perform order entry and maintain accurate customer/account information.

Research account and payment information in SAP or other ERP systems.

Work with internal teams and customers to resolve billing and payment issues.

Assist with process improvements and other AR-related duties.

Qualifications

Experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, invoicing, and/or collections .

Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel .

SAP or other ERP experience preferred , but open to candidates with other systems.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
