Job Title: 1st Shift Production Associate Job Description
The 1st Shift Production Associate works on the production line in a food manufacturing environment, following all safety and SFQ rules to ensure consistent, high-quality output. This role involves general production and labor tasks, including stacking and handling baked goods, while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work area.
Responsibilities
Work on the production line in a food manufacturing environment, performing assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
Follow all safety and SFQ (Safe Food Quality) rules and procedures at all times.
Handle general production and general labor duties, including stacking and organizing products as needed.
Carefully follow instructions from supervisors or leads to complete daily production goals.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area to support safe and efficient operations.
Stand for extended periods while performing repetitive production tasks.
Lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, and reaching throughout the shift.
Adapt to working conditions in a wet, slippery environment and maintain awareness to prevent accidents.
Work collaboratively with team members and communicate any issues or concerns to the supervisor or lead.
Comply with all company policies and procedures related to quality, safety, and production standards.
Essential Skills
Ability to follow instructions carefully and work diligently under supervision.
Comfort working in a food manufacturing production line environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods during a 5:30 pm to 5:00 am shift.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds safely and repeatedly.
Ability to bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
Comfort working in environments that vary in temperature and can be wet and slippery.
Willingness to work 1st shift hours from 5:30 pm to 5:00 am, Monday through Saturday.
Ability to work safely and consistently follow safety and SFQ rules.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
No specialized training required; on-the-job training provided under the direct supervision of a supervisor or lead.
Previous experience in production, food manufacturing, or general labor is helpful but not required.
Experience with stacking, general production, or working on a production line is a plus.
Strong work ethic and reliability, including consistent attendance and punctuality.

Work Environment
The role is based in a food manufacturing facility with a hot production environment. The temperature inside can be 20-30 degrees hotter than the outside temperature, so workers should be comfortable working in heat. The shift runs from 5:30 pm to 5:00 am, Monday through Saturday, providing a consistent overnight schedule. Production associates work under the direct supervision of a supervisor or lead and are part of a structured, process-driven environment focused on safety, quality, and productivity. Dress code typically requires appropriate work attire suitable for a hot, wet production floor, with necessary safety gear as provided or required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
