Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our Denver Distribution Center. This role is responsible for picking, packing, staging, receiving, and shipping electrical products and materials while maintaining accuracy, organization, and safety.
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and willing to operate warehouse equipment such as an order picker and reach truck .
Important: This is a NON-DRIVER position . Workers selected for this role are not permitted to have any driving responsibilities during the assignment, including driving company vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Assemble and fill orders for shipment to customers and other company divisions.
Load and unload common carrier and company vehicles.
Prepare customer orders for shipment via UPS and LTL carriers.
Verify merchandise, quantities, descriptions, and invoices for accuracy.
Process shipping paperwork, including Bills of Lading (BOLs).
Follow customer shipping instructions and properly prepare shipments.
Apply appropriate shipping labels and packaging materials.
Gather completed orders and stage them according to truck route.
Pack orders into appropriate containers and organize them for shipment.
Use a scanner and Warehouse Management System for order picking and material put-away.
Operate an order picker and reach truck safely and efficiently.
Assist other warehouse personnel when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous warehouse experience preferred.
Experience operating an order picker and/or reach truck is a plus.
General knowledge of electrical products is preferred.
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attendance and dependability required.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies.
Physical & Safety Requirements
Steel-toed work boots are required.
Must be comfortable working in a warehouse/distribution center environment.
Must be able to safely operate an order picker and reach truck.
Must follow all warehouse safety procedures.
No driving responsibilities are permitted for this position.
